Mar Sanchez She is a Spanish guitarist, composer, and singer with over thirty years of experience. Not because she's old, but because she began her musical journey at a very young age, at five years old. Her unique style fuses flamenco, classical music, blues and jazzin their own emotional and free language.

Mar composes, sings, plays the guitar, he electric bass and the double bass. Constantly transcribes music, performs free improvisations and thoroughly studies the legacy of the African American musicians of blues, jazz, funk and soul.

In addition, he dedicates part of his time to the in-depth study of classical music, reading works by Bach, Debussy either Rachmaninoff, three of his favorite composers.

In her artistic journey, Mar combines respect and curiosity for traditions with a constant search for personal expression. Playing, listening, and creating are, for her, inseparable acts.

Alongside her work as a performer and composer, She loves music pedagogyHe enjoys teaching, sharing his knowledge, and showing anyone how they can sing, feel or tap out a rhythm.

During 2024, Mar Sanchez He spent four months working in the United States, where he continued to develop his international profile.

After the completion in November 2024 tour with Cimafunk, traveled to Boston to record their new album “Solo Guitar” in the studies of Berklee College of Music.

Throughout 2025, he has been presenting his solo work as a guitarist on different stages and festivals, including Seville, he Petrer International Guitar Festival (Alicante), he Lucena Guitar Festival, Barcelona, Ibiza and Madrid.

They are currently available on all platforms. three singles of this album, whose full release is scheduled for January 2026.

At the same time, he leads his personal project Mar Sánchez & The Electric Bloom, a band that debuted on September 7, 2025 at Clasijazz (Almería) and will offer a concert in Madrid on November 30th.
